The steps below are for organizations who plan to install the plugin for several users within a company and intend to use Multi User subscription plan.

Installation

Login to Office 365 and go to the Admin panel. Admin panel

In the side bar, scroll down to Admin centers and choose Exchange. Side bar

Then choose organization > add-ins. Choose Apps

Press plus button and choose Add from URL. Add from URL

Enter URL:

For side panel loading

For dropdown panel loading (deprecated by Microsoft, if still works in your Outlook - you might consider it more convenient)

and press Install.

Enter URL

Double click on the line with the plugin to configure default options for users. Configure default options

Make the plugin available to users and press Save. Make the plugin available

The plugin is now accessible from within each Email message as a button labeled <> Sugar® or from the ribbon:

License Configuration

To configure enterprise license download and install GMSyncAddon module for SugarCRM from https://gmdownlods.s3.amazonaws.com/aesync/gmsync_latest.zip

Login to SugarCRM as admin and got to Admin panel. Scroll down and in the GrinMark Synchronizer Add-on section choose License Configuration. License Configuration

Set the checkbox: Enable License Manager

Enter your license key and press Validate. Validate License

Assign users and press Save. Assign users

Activation and Configuration

You need to define some settings for App to be able to archive and synchronize. All settings are configured at the Settings page.

Settings

1: License key

After you start your 30-day trial, grab the license key from the SugarOutfitters page and specify it like described in the section above.

2: CRM URL

It may be taken from the web URL as follows. Look at the line in the web browser when logging into SugarCRM.

For SugarCRM 7 It looks like: https://grinmark.sugaropencloud.eu/#Home/9cdf72db-8f9e-e3c4-9166-53426b538d04. i.e.:

Cut the trailing part starting from # and leaving the trailing / and you get the right URL, i.e. the correct URL is: https://grinmark.sugaropencloud.eu/

For SugarCRM 6: It looks like: http://ex.grinmark.com:8090/aedemo/index.php?action=Login&module=Users&login_module=Home&login_action=index. i.e.:

Cut the trailing part starting from index.php and leaving the trailing / and you get the right URL, i.e. the correct URL is: http://ex.grinmark.com:8090/aedemo/

3: User Name, 4: Password

SugarCRM login name of the user and password.

5: Test Connection

Use it to make sure your SugarCRM instance is accessible. If connection is successful then CRM settings will be automatically saved.

6: Office 365 Password, 7: Test Connection, 8: Save

You need to specify the password that is used to log into Office 365 Outlook (mailbox password).

It is recommended to press Test Connection to make sure password is applied properly.

If connection is successful then Exchange settings will be automatically saved.
